These guys are scammers!!! I called them on a Monday and asked if they could handle a RAM 3500 on their hoist for a tire/wheel balance. This is something that should take about 1 1/2 hours as mine is a dually, with a cost of about $30 per tire...$215.00 with tax roughly. They said we'll need the truck for the day. I said "ok" but I wondered why they wanted it for the day. We dropped the truck off at 8am on the following Friday.....had to wait all week for a balance!!! At about 1:30pm I get a call from a woman, not the guy I dropped the truck off to, saying " Your inspection is done." I was like, "What?" "I asked you guys to balance my tires." Long argument ensues, she tries to tell me my truck is unsafe for the road and after being challenged on their little "fishing expedition" she told me to just come and get my truck!!!! No work done, one week wasted waiting and a day wasted driving back and forth to the shop....Total bait and switch scammers....stay away!!!!
Lee…you had to wait all week for a tire balance because we are fully booked serving our customers. Usually we book about a week in advance. If you were in a rush and needed it sooner, when told the timeline you had the option to call around to find another shop that could get it done sooner, and you chose not to. I guess you weren’t in a rush? You were told your vehicle is unsafe for the road because IT IS UNSAFE FOR THE ROAD! You have a seized brake caliper and ZERO brake pads. You could kill someone driving around like this. There are also numerous other worn out parts in your front suspension that require urgent attention. Tire balance is way way down the list of what this vehicle requires. Also your vehicle has been illegally modified removing emissions equipment. I would also like to remind you that we are a licensed vehicle inspection facility. If you will not maintain your vehicle to a level that is safe for the road - PLEASE DO NOT DRIVE IT ON THE ROAD!!! You were notified of this in writing on your invoice. If you are in an accident driving a vehicle that you have been informed is not safe for the road you can be held legally responsible and your insurance will not cover anything.
Have always had great experiences at Diamond Head Motors. They've done multiple services on my wife's Audi and they were able to get my truck in for a forced Regen and diagnostic quickly.

Needed to have my brakes serviced on our RAV4. I used Ai to organize available shops in Squamish and to reach out over email to obtain quotes for all things brake service. The Ai then organized those quotes, it graded the responses, analyzed public reviews and scored shops based on quality, price and level of service. Diamondhead motors came out on top. They were able to quickly book me in and service the brakes and let me tell you, I am stopping real good these days! Thank you to the folks at Diamondhead for a smooth frictionless service! Great service! Fast efficient and explained in full detail plus sent photos of everything that needs attention and price quotes so you can decide what to get done first if you can’t afford it all at once ! And it was priced accordingly not outrageous!
